Bite puzzle 🧩
Listen to the sentences and tap the mixed word cards in the order you heard them. It’s easier for beginners than dictation.
Try it nowWhy does this work?
- Since you can see all the words and just follow the order, the Korean word order becomes ingrained. As you hear it, your hands move first.
- Dictation is blocked by spelling, but puzzles only focus on ear and word order. It’s perfect for getting started.
- Incorrect sentences go into the vocabulary book and return for spaced review a few days later.
How to do it
- 1If you start with one expression, there are 10 sentences of 4 to 9 words containing that word.
- 2Listen to the scene and place the word cards in the order you hear them. If you misplace a card, tap it and it will come back.
- 3Once everything is placed, it is graded immediately. If it’s correct, the dog cheers, and if it’s a succession, it’s a combo. If you miss 3 bites, it’s over.
